after searching around for a mitre saw at a good price yours was the cheapest and i wanted to buy it from a scottish business ( no offence if you have any english employees:)

1 thing I had to phone about was I ordered 110v
but when I got email comferming order it had 240v
on it.

Very satisfied with the whole service, there was a slight delay but that was not a problem at all, and communication was very good.

I phoned to check that the product was new and not a graded or reconditioned unit because of the excellent price. The care taken in packing the unit for posting was not up to the normal standard that I would expect. The unit was taken out of its original box and that was used for bracing the unit inside another, larger box.

Order was taken (and money taken from my account) then a few days later I got an email saying that the main item was out of stock and they did not know when it would be back.
I was not too happy about this and emailed back to point out that I was not warned about the delay and money should not have been taken. Fortunately the response was quite prompt and said that stock would be re-checked, and a couple of days later the items turned up - just in time for me. You recovered the situation but I was not too happy at first.

There was a delay of maybe 7 days of the expected delivery date, because I had to pay lokal taxes to TNT(in Norway). I usually pay later by a invoice after I`ve recieved the goods(DHL, UPS)

Your website is great, your correspondance is great, your prices are a little bit more expensive than say ITS but felt I would order this particular product from you because you gave me prior advice. The BIG problem for me is that if you advertise something like a power tool on the Internet you should hold stock of it so that dispatch can be made the following day. Or you should have some agreement with suppliers ghat they express the items to you asap? I have placed my last 2orders withyou and boyhood have taken in the region of 10 working days to arrive in fact I am still awaiting for 1 order!! I know that if I were to order this stuff from ITS I would have it in 3 days... I hope this is constructive.
